What is Cinematography Copyright?
A Cinematograph film can be defined as any work of visual recording on any medium produced through a process from which a moving image may be produced by any means and includes a sound recording accompanying such visual recording and 'cinematograph' shall be constructed as including any work produced by any process analogous to cinematograph including video films. The author of cinematograph film is the producer of the copyright Act. Video films are deemed to be work produced by a process analogous to cinematography. The term of protection for cinematograph films is 60 years. The term of protection starts from the year which follows the year in which the work was published first.

2. Statement of Particulars (Signed by author/ owner of right)
3. 2 copies of the work (1 copy if work is published)
4. Power of Attorney
5. No Objection Certificate [NOC] or an agreement from various other persons involved.
